NYC School-based Mental Health Programs

Here is something I came across that seems relevant to implementing mental health services in NYC schools.  I realize it isn't the same as adding education regarding mental health disorders into an overall health curriculum, nevertheless, it may be of interest. Perhaps this could be something mentioned to students in a curriculum that more directly discusses mental health disorders.  As it stands, it's not completely clear how a student would know to ask for this service.  But, if the service was described in a mental health curriculum that more directly addressed mental health disorders, my guess is that more students would be made aware of it.
